Procurement Tools
Start with the available BOM submission service. The status of each tool below distinguishes current services from planned functionality.
BOM Upload for Sourcing Review
AvailableSend a Bill of Materials for a sourcing review. Include exact ordering codes, quantities and delivery requirements. The upload submits your request to the sourcing team; it does not generate an instant lifecycle or compatibility report.
Cross-Reference & Alternative Part Finder
Coming SoonA self-service cross-reference search is not available yet. For a current requirement, use the component alternatives guide and submit the exact part number and operating constraints for review.
Semiconductor Lead Time Tracker
PlannedAn interactive lead-time dashboard is planned and is not currently available. Published market articles provide dated context; request a quotation for the delivery terms of an exact part and lot.
How to prepare a useful sourcing request
- Export the approved BOM with full manufacturer ordering codes, including package and grade suffixes.
- Add quantity, delivery date, destination and any approved alternatives for each line.
- Identify the lines that need lifecycle review, source documentation or additional inspection.
- Upload the file and submit your contact information. Review any clarification requests before comparing quotations.
This is useful when several component requirements need to be reviewed together, including maintenance and EOL sourcing. For one exact part, use the RFQ form. For a design change, start with the replacement qualification workflow.
Tool and BOM submission questions
Does uploading a BOM automatically validate lifecycle status?
No. The upload submits a sourcing request. Lifecycle conclusions require manufacturer documentation for each exact ordering code and are separate from catalog availability.
Can I use the cross-reference finder now?
The self-service finder is not available. You can use the component alternatives guide to prepare a request for a candidate review.
Is a candidate replacement already approved for my design?
No. Electrical, mechanical, thermal and software requirements can differ even when parts share a package. The design owner must validate and approve the change.
